Ext Fields

Ext fields are how we accommodate per-customer custom fields on profiles. And yes, they are tracked as changes in our /directory/changes feed for you to consume and update as needed.

Impact on Directory

Ext fields can be optionally included in the directory; in most cases they are. This is now done purely through configuration (rather than customization) which gives us ample flexibility to accommodate whatever it is you need done.
