Salesforce

This functionality will be available for customer use in July 2025

Salesforce may be your system of record, but AlumnIQ is your system for engagement. AlumnIQ can now talk directly with your Salesforce environment, synchronizing event, gift, email, and contact data without need for bespoke integration work.

AlumnIQ Sync is a free managed package available on the Salesforce AppExchange. It provides a standardized set of custom objects and UI components to make AlumnIQ data seamlessly available within the Salesforce ecosystem. Optionally enabling AlumnIQ services to push data directly into Salesforce via the included External Client App, institutions can leverage behavioral and engagement data across platforms to design more targeted segments and manage dynamic customer journeys all at no addtional cost.

Key Benefits

  • Streamlined Integration No need for custom Apex or middleware — data is delivered directly from AlumnIQ into Salesforce objects.

  • Behavioral Data in Context Supports segmentation and automation by surfacing registrations, check-ins, donations, sends, clicks, opens, and other interactions directly in Salesforce.

  • User-Friendly Interface Includes a custom Salesforce app with tabs, layouts, and views that present AlumnIQ data where you’d expect to find it, and links deep into AlumnIQ interfaces to fill in the rest.

  • Designed for Expansion The initial MVP includes core UI elements; deeper integration with your advancement views and workflows will follow as this functionality matures.

What’s Included

  • A custom Salesforce app: AlumnIQ

  • Tabs and layouts for events, activities, and participants (email and gift data soon to follow)

  • Custom objects designed for reporting and engagement tracking

  • Optional integration via an External Client App for secure, OAuth-based data delivery

Basic Requirements:

  • (optional) A Salesforce-powered advancement solution like ascend or Affinaquest

  • (optional) An AlumnIQ platform environment.
