Capturing Non-Registrants

We do not believe in making people walk the entire path of registration just to say they're not coming.

We also believe we've had a really hard time naming this feature. You may see it as:

• Capturing Non-Registrants

• Declines

• I Can't Attend

All the same feature: this one.

Features

• On/off capture of submissions

• QUICK capture of name, email, (optional) class year, and (optional) reason for opting out

• locked to each master event so each submission is locked to a given master event

• if you do the match work, we can share these with your CRM system

Configuration

Config is entirely under the Master Event. Edit master event and search for "Declines" midway down the page.

If/when capture is activated: a link appears on the (public) event landing screen until registration closes.

Recommendations

• open non-registrant capture a month or two before registration opens

• MATCH DAILY

• um, that's it!

Reporting

Reports > Declines/Can't Attend

From there you can:

• export the whole shebang to Excel

• delete invalid submissions

• match submissions to XIDs

We also make this data set available for inclusion in your group registrations export.
