For most circumstances, hitting the Omni Gift resource should be sufficient as it holds gift transactions from all sources including signature event gifts. All event, signature event, and membership gifts are one time gifts - so 1:1 between gift and transaction and thank you ma’am.
However, if you are using AlumnIQ’s Giving module, you’ll need to get at the giving API resources in order to make sense of installment, recurring, and perpetual gifts. Inquire within!
